We collect only what is necessary to serve you and operate the Foundation:

• Donation details — name, email, phone number, postal address, PAN (optional, for 80G receipts), donation amount, payment screenshot, and any message or dedication you choose to share.
• Contact enquiries — name, email, inquiry type, and message content submitted through the Contact form.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and interaction events collected automatically to keep the site secure and understand usage.

• Process donations, issue receipts, and comply with tax requirements under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act.
• Respond to enquiries, partnership proposals, and press requests.
• Send occasional updates about programs, initiatives, and events — only when you have opted in.
• Maintain the security, performance, and integrity of the website.
• Meet legal, audit, and reporting obligations applicable to registered charitable trusts in India.

We rely on your consent when you submit a form or opt in to communications, and on our legitimate interest in operating a transparent, secure charitable organization. Where required by law, we also process data to satisfy statutory obligations.

KPF does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only with:

• Trusted service providers who help us operate the site, process payments, send email, and store files — bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Auditors, chartered accountants, and government authorities where mandated by law or regulation.
• Third parties with your explicit consent (for example, if you agree to be featured in a public acknowledgement).

We use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics events fire only after you grant consent through the on-site banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Personal data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls at rest. Payment screenshots and donor records are kept in protected storage accessible only to authorised Foundation staff. No online system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry standard safeguards.

Donation records and tax receipts are retained for the period required by Indian tax and audit law (typically eight years). Contact enquiries are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your request or maintain a relationship you have opted into.

You may, at any time, ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent for marketing or analytics.

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
